Better Late Than Never!

"Don't wait. The time will never be just right." - Napoleon Hill

I gotta admit, I am not someone who tends to have things ready far in advance. I'm actually more of a last minute person, but I do get her done! I know that I am not the only person who tends to operate this way, so this is what this post is about.

Online Retreat

Throughout February you may have been promoting one or more online Lenten retreats to your parishioners. And there are many who no doubt signed up and are right on track with the online retreat they chose.

But what about those who had good intentions, but ultimately missed the boat - or did they?! I say they did not, therefore giving you a great idea for content. In fact with a few tweaks you can reuse the post you created back in February.

Step 1

Find a couple of online retreats - at this point it's pretty easy since Lent has started. Here are a few ideas:

Step 2

Take your previous announcement and tweak it. Remind people that Lent is a journey, that it's 40 days long and it's really not too late to join an online retreat. Include one or more suggestions of online retreats along with the links.

If you have not previously recommended an online retreat then here is your chance - remember It's Never Too Late! 😎

Here are a few sample announcements you are free to use.

Step 3

Publish your announcement in your bulletin, on your website, or on your social media platform (s).

I realize this will sound like heresy to anyone who does things well in advance, but I think you can use this idea for at least the first 4 weeks of Lent. Afterall, Lent is not about perfection rather it's about going deeper with the Good Lord! So better late than never I say!

See ya soon! 👋
